ENJOY! :)

Update : Personal experience

Recently I attended supernova, a huge pop cultural expo in sydney and met some amazing and tremendously remarkable people such as stan lee the man!

i saw an amazing cosplay of princess mononoke, and it inspired me to create my own version of her. So over the weeks, months until the expo in 2015 i will be sharing my process of developing the costume of a remarkable character.

I think i can pull it off :D

Whispers Of the Heart

Review:

Okay so whispers of the heart was fairly interesting. Only bad thing about it was the ending. It felt — unfinished? if thats the right word for it. Don’t get me wrong lovely movie about fantasy and love but just wasn’t fully satisfied. I was looking for more, I guess you could say.

So my perspective on the plot: Rather interesting and not too intense with overbearing creatures that Miyazaki usually involves. I really thought the scene of the old grandpa clock found in an abandon castle was beautiful. Lovely detail and a unique background to its use. This movie was creative in many ways and was a pleasure to watch but it seemed like it was cut too short.

I like the fact that you used my favorite scene of the movie in your review of Spirited Away (which is, btw, also my favorite Ghibli movie)

Hi there :)

Thank you very much :) One of the best scenes in spirited away. WIll hopefully post up some more ‘spirited away’ inspired pieces over the next few days so feel free to look through my blog whenever :)

Take Care :)

Updating you on my latest thoughts!

So in my personal review on what I thought about “Spirited away” I really chocked on my words. Literally, I just couldn’t express the funny feeling I had in my belly. Just finished watching spirited away - yet! once again and it never leaves me disappointed.

Even though I’ve watched it so many times I basically know the movies process with my eyes closed, I still get the anticipation of whats going to happen next. Never really found a movie to give me that ‘WOW FACTOR’. Im sure there are many people out there agreeing to my opinion. I may sound overly obsessed in a quirky manner but really, its passion. I have so much passion for this movie it makes me feel inspired.

I have to say, Thank goodness for the invention of animation. Without it I think I would have a very basic life haha. No - Better yet, Thank goodness for imagination. Its being created in ways I believe inspires me.

Hayao Miyazaki definitely has to be one of my inspirations :)

I recognise throughout Miyazaki’s works, His stories relate to my life some how. Its like he writes my life or an event that I’ve faced. Lovely stories. He truly takes anime to another level .

Im sure many other out there agree?

SPIRITED AWAY

Review:

THE WINNER OF ALL!

This movie… I just can’t explain how amazing this movie is. Have you ever had a movie where it can bring out any emotion in you, even emotions you never thought to have within? Well this movie really captivated my attention especially my heart.

The plot is amazing. Really creates the mood to be inspired, fall in love to a seek of adventure. On many occasions throughout this movie, It made me excited to seeing the transition of the real world to the spirit world. For once, Miyazaki’s characters weren’t so bizarre. They were more inviting. Each having their own story creating the atmosphere full of mystery. I really am lost for words about this movie. I could watch it over a hundred times and still have no proper words to express how great this movie is.

I definitely would say, This is Hayao Miyazaki’s best creation of all time. Its the one you cant miss. The one you must watch to understand.
